Another big race weekend for San Diego BMW Racing

But what of Jeremy Toye ? Well it seems he had broken ribs and wasn't able to do much but race in the Formula One class. But broken ribs didn't stop him. He won the race by nearly 6 seconds, and was less than 1 second off the Formula One track record. Imagine what he might do when the ribs heal at next months races. Steve Rapp's overall Track Record of 1m19.029 is well within sight.

Our Service Manager, Mark Pohlson was joined in the New Racer school by master Technician Todd Hockensmith on his F800S. Mark took 3rd place and Todd took 9th.

While all this speed was going on, our Parts Manager, Sean DeAngelis was over at Qualcomm Stadium to see what Super Motard racing was like. He put some street tires on his G650 X-Challenge and took pole position. He ran 2nd until the 6th lap, and in the last lap, 3rd place over-took him, pushing Sean back to 4th. Next month he might also be riding on a G450X that we are preparing for the Super Motard's.
